Beautiful spring weather mixed with some wet and muddy trails greeted No Coast runners at this past weekend’s Team Red Shamrock Trail Challenge and runners didn’t waste any time hitting the trails and having a blast on a fun & challenging course all while supporting a great cause at this year’s first NCTS race!

Congratulations to all of the race winners including No Coast regular Ross Salinas taking home 1st overall as well as No Coast runners Morgan Russell, Jodee Ross, Michelle Steele, Denise Whiting, Bryan Powers, David Pullara and Gary Jones for all placing in the top of their respective divisions!

In the Club Division, The Runner’s Flat have taken an early lead with 29.2 points followed closely by the defending champs LoKeyz (27.1) and the QC-TUR(d)s (23.7) in close pursuit!

A huge thanks and congratulations to Red Shamrock Foundation for putting on a fun, safe and rewarding event and being such a strong supporter of racing dirt on the No Coast!

We hope everyone has had a wonderful winter despite the harsher than normal conditions and is as excited for the arrival of spring as we are! So whether you’ve been busy training for a big early season race or taking the opportunity to rest and recover from a long year of trail running, we hope you’re ready for another great year of racing trails on the No Coast!

First some updates:
– The Hawkeye 50k/25k will unfortunately not be able to take place this April
-Booneville Backroads Ultra has moved from its usual Memorial Day weekend slot to Labor Day weekend, Sept. 4th.
-After a two year hiatus, the Swiss Valley Trail Races will be back on October 2nd and adding a 50k distance in addition to the 5.2mi and 25k!
-Club Division point structure and accrual method has been updated. Full details can be found on the series website: https://nocoasttrailseries.com/how-it-works/

Registration is open and space available in a number of this year’s races including the series kickoff at Red Shamrock so get on over to https://secure.getmeregistered.com/get_information.php… and get signed up!

Registration for Swiss Valley is set to open March 1st and the Mines of Spain Trail Races on March 5th.
